What Is Moonlyte Health?
Moonlyte is the 1st program of its kind that educates & trains underrepresented physicians on how to start, scale, & raise capital in healthcare startup, business, & medical practice. We aim to increase ownership & equity amongset those physician groups. It also prepares existing practices to pivot & expand on how to deliver care in new & innovative ways.

Our physician founder cohorts consist of a tribe of peers, accountability partners, & mentors to enhance the learning experience. The mission is to increase the number of underserved providers in the health tech & innovation industry who can provide autonomous care within their respective communities.

Physician Founders will be equipped with the knowledge base & resources not provided during their medical training to run successful & innovative medical businesses in today's digital economy. Virtual medicine & digital health are the future of healthcare delivery. The COVID-19 crisis of 2020 forever changed how we navigate patient encounters, making innovation essential to keeping providers and patients safe.
Problems We're Solving
In 2018, approx. 6% of medical school grads were black/latinx. In 2016, approx. 47% of physicians were practice owners. Physicians and healthcare providers of color have highly disproportionate access to resources, support, and capital when trying to start or grow a business when compared to their counterparts.

During these unprecedented times, COVID-19 has forever changed the way we think about the delivery of care & how it affects our physicians, hospitals, and clinics. We now know first-hand how easily physician life can be disrupted & become especially chaotic to daily life with the ones we love.
